I enjoyed my day today very much. =)

This day next year, it will be a totally different atmosphere.

Semangat-ed!!

Woot!!

Anybody wanna play badminton? On Friday Hock Chin asked me whether I wanted to play badminton, but couldn't find anybody on so short notice. I could've gotten some people that I know will say yes on short notice, but he wanted to play with 5 Beta...=(

Anyways, I'm very semangat-ed to play badminton now!!

After training on Sunday, I'm all pumped up to playbadminton. I played one of my best badminton yesterday...=)

Hock Chin isn't free on weekdays, so he said to find people to play on Saturday, maybe?

Most likely at 3K, cause it's cheaper.

Merry Christmas guys n girls!!

Smashed Chicken

There's this new restaurant(well, it's been a few months) opposite of Peppercorn.
They serve Smashed Chicken...lols.

Ayam Penyet.

I think it's an Indonesian dish.
If you go there, you'll probbly end up eating what most of us, that went today, ordered.
-Ayam penyet
-Nasi putih

The dishes, I would say are kinda weird. There's even a beef penyet. *???*

Well, the chicken was quite nice. Very fragrant, and the dish comes with a piece of taufu, some raw vege, something else that's squishy...XD and one kick-ass sambal belacan. Taste a bit and it'll blow your head...lols.

My opinion, I don't think I'll be going back in the near future...lols.

I can't wait for the week to end. So many assignments.........during a tutorial week...*suffering*.

Also, after this week, apart from no stress of work, I'll get to play badminton with Gabriel and Kean Weng again.....weeeeee!!! =)

It's been a long time since they stopped training to study for their SPM.
It's gonna be fun....=D

Relief!!

One full week of tutorials...finally I get a break from them.

Tutorials in A-levels were so much more fun and easier compared to Uni now. Everyday I had to come back, take a shower and then start on tutorials...not much time to relax.

I need to de-stress. I missed last weeks training because of tutorials, this week I can go without much going through my head. Deadlines, deadlines deadlines.....

It's going to be great when I finish this term in December...I get to relax...more than I usually can. =)
Got present from Tasmania...=)

I'll post about it when I get it...weee.

Tomorrow I need to go to college in the morning to attend some gathering with some lawyers from the Bar Council...

I wonder why we have so many extra activities to do in Uni? Isn't just doing all the assignments and tons of reading enough?

There are the group presentations, E-PAR to complete(still kinda blur on this), community services, etc...just thinking about and all the deadlines....*no comment*, *sigh*....

Anyways, most 5 Beta-ians will be back or free by December right? Wanna get together? Badminton maybe? =)

Any invitation for badminton from anyone else will also be nice. =D

LawAsia Mooting Competition

Wednesday

I had to wake up at around 6am to get ready to go to Taylors as we were supposed to gather there at about 6.45am.

It was still so dark when I reached Taylors. Most of us took the bus, and many were sleeping on the way there. =)
We arrived quite late due to the jam. I was ushering...boring and tiring job.

We reached back at about 8pm at Taylors. Everyone was tired as hell, and to top it all off, we were required to do a case brief and hand it in the following day!! Crazy contract lecturer.
*the deadline in the end was pushed to this Monday...=(

Thursday and Friday was almost similar. The only difference being that we went back slightly earlier.

The finals on Friday was fantastic, well only the 1st session. Justice Gopal and Dr Minzan were bombarding the two teams with questions, and instead of a 2-hour session, it was extended to almost 3 hours because they kept extending the time...lols. Pity the poor mooters.

I'm very lazy to blog about it in detail. =D

Today went for training, my hand hurts, and I almost defeated Sebastian in 2 games. I took the first 22-20, and he took the next 21-19. We didn't play the 3rd game cause we were both exhausted.

One more thing,

FORZA MASSA!!

FORZA FERRARI!!!

Dread....

I'm looking very much forward to the Lawasia Mooting Competition tomorrow, however.......

I'm not looking forward to waking up at 6 am. =(

Random post

I keep meeting with my classmates these couple of days, out of Taylors.

I met Susan yesterday, twice, at Sunway Pyramid.

I met Derren, Matthew, Andrick, Evelyn and Esther at TGIF tonight. They were celebrating Evelyn's birthday, also they were sitting next to our table. lols.

Will be busy on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, because Taylors is hosting the International Mooting Competition so we all have to take part. It'll be at KLCC.

Need to wear suit and tie.

Anyone free to watch HSM 3?

Monday, October 20, 2008

Hueco Mundo Arc!!

Weee!!

Bleach 190 is now showing the battle between Ichigo and Nnoitra. =D

After such a long filler about Captain Amagai, now we're back to business.

Oh, the new opening song scene are niceeeee...=).
I love it when they always gather as one big group; the captains, Vizards, etc.

*btw, why is it so hard to buy law books?
Every shop seems to take about a week to deliver the book if there is any in stock, and about 2-3 weeks (or more) if there's none...haiz.

Friday, October 10, 2008

Weekend!!!

Phew...my first break from University.
I was waiting for the weekend to come.

I think I have been away from my books for too long, that's why I haven't gotten into the rhythm yet. =(

I'm looking forward to badminton training this Sunday. =)

Can't wait to relax myself.

My opinion about the law course I'm in,

A-level lecturers were much much more interesting than my current lecturers. Also, the way they explain the law...hmm....Miss Marguerite does a damn good job compared to these guys.

I'm not sure how my other classmates who has never done law are able to cope. If I were a first year law student now, I'll definitely be going "huh?"

And also, my classmates in A-levels, I miss you guys!!

Also...

I LOVE MY LAPTOP!!! =)

!st day of Uni life.

When back to Taylors today to begin Uni life. I hate waking up early. =(

There are about 30 people in my class. I know Deborah(or was it Debra?) and Sarah from PL2 and Nicholas from PB3.

Met a few new friends...=)

Orientation was kinda boring.

Oh yeah, there was one girl from Kenya that looked alot like Juna(when she wears a cap). Deborah agreed with me. lol

Will be getting my laptop tomorrow...=D.

HURRAY!!

Oh, did anyone know that SJMC had a 1901 stall? OoO
While visiting my grandfather, I saw the stall near the pharmacy.

That's about it for now. Cya.

10 days left..

Only 10 days left till I start studying again...=(

Got my IELTS results today, so we went to register at Taylors. I know Nicholas Lai will be doing Law at Taylors as well, but I'm not too sure which intake.

Also, I know of another Justin who'll be doing the same thing as me at Taylors.
His name, Justin Matthew Liew (or was it Lim?).

At the Student Central, while my mother was paying the fees, the lady asked me to sign on the offer form. It said his name and not mine. I told the lady this wasn't my name, then she said that there was another Justin doing the same program so she got mixed up. lols.

Maybe he plays badminton...*prays that he does*...that'll be fun...=).

Orientation will be on the 6th of October.

Now I must go and enjoy as much as I can as a free man...XD

Bleach movie!!

Diamond Dust Rebellion!!

Damn cool!!

A much better movie than that of Memories of Nobody.

Any Bleach fan must watch this.
It came out on Dattebayo a few days ago, just finished downloading it today. =)

Kuchiki Byakuya is damn cool!!

Other things that happened today, I sat for my IELTS speaking test. Will be sitting for my IELTS reading/writing/listening test this Saturday.

Played badminton today!!!

Played badminton with Hock Chin, Hee Ian and my bro today.

It was sort of a last minute thing...luckily there were courts to book.

According to Hock Chin, he hasn't played badminton since before I left for NS.
Decided to take advantage of that...hehe. =)

I can't recall whether me and my brother have ever defeated Hock Chin and Hee Ian in doubles.
Well, today it didn't happen...sad...I know..=(

We took the first game comfortably, however, everyone who knows Hee Ian will know that even if he were to partner a novice in badminton...he would most likely win, and that was the case here. haiz.

Then we changed partners, and I'm sure Hee Ian won all of his matches fairly easily.

After everyone had partnered everyone else, I noticed something, my shirt wasn't drenched with sweat!? Odd.
My legs were feeling very hot...dunno why.

Anyways, I decided to play a singles game with Hock Chin..=)..for all those who don't know me so well, this is what I like to do when I get the chance to play badminton with Him EVERY SINGLE TIME! =)

Oh...I should really stop underestimating some of my opponents. It has cost me dearly in some of my matches...=)

Back to the match. It was a really close game. The biggest gap was only 2 points, no one could run away from each other. I could feel myself heating up...and still I wasn't sweaty...hmm, maybe I've become like Shishio Makoto!!
MUAHAHAHAHA!! lols.

Even though Hock Chin hasn't played in a while, he still has the fitness.
I'll jump to the point where it was 18-18 in the game.

At this point, both of us were clearly exhausted. When I managed to score my 19th point, I shouted so loud because it was a long rally that I had won...=)
Hee Ian, or was it my brother, who asked me why I shouted so loud...lols.

Scored my 20th, and I shouted again as if I had won an Olympic gold or something...=)
*it felt like it...=)

At this point, I couldn't let Hock Chin catch up to me and deuce the game...I would've been unable to win if that happened. Just didn't have the capacity to do so at that time.

20-18

Served. Quite a long rally. Smashed straight into Hock Chin. Hit his body. Silence.

I didn't shout. All I did was punch my fist, as hard as I could, a few times into the air. Mission accomplished.
Hock Chin dropped his racquet in frustration.

After that, Hee Ian asked why I didn't fall to the ground like Chong Wei...lols.
Maybe he was comparing me to Chong Wei...lols. Just joking. Don't comment me on this! =)

Those last 3 points are still playing in my head as I continue to write this post.

Oh yeah, I saw my cousin with a friend at Jaya Square, probably booking courts.

Go-kart Day

Woke up around 7.30 this morning and we left the house at about 8 am.
Went to Glenmarie for breakfast.

The junior category started first, with the practice session. I only managed 11th fastest out of 16 people. My car was damn slow. But the car I would change to later on would still have the same problem.

After the adults had their turn, it was our turn now for qualifying.
I qualified 10th. My bro 8th, and my cousins 5th and 16th...=)

After that it was the adults again then there was a 10 minute break. Anyone who wanted to sit the 2 seater car, did so during this time.

Then our race started.

We did a rolling start. After the first corner, I could not see Seb who was right in front of me...dunno why. =(

I was racing with the 11th placed guy for sometime, until I lost out to him on the straight.

Then many people spun, *yes*, and I was at about 6th or 7th, until some small kid overtook me on the straight.

* I never get cars that are fast on the straights.

The last few laps, I felt like vomiting...haiz. Had to slow down to take a breath.

At the last corner, some girl overtook me...I thought it was my cousin, so I let her through...=(
*sad*.

In the end, I finish 8th, my bro 4th and my cousins finished 9th and 16th.

=)

Thursday, August 21, 2008

3 more days till the big race!!

Go-Kart!!!

Saujana GCC's Go-Kart competition is this Sunday...=)

I can't wait to drive on the circuit again.

Hopefully can get a trophy. XD
That will make me very happy.

But I'll just be pleased to get to drive a go-kart again.

Playing badminton is a no no...

...while you're still sick that is. =)

Still had slight cold when I went for training.

Couldn't complete the physical training.

Not many came yesterday.

We played singles, winner stay.

My brother against one guy. Seb won.

My brother against another guy. Seb surprisingly won.
(Seb wasn't the favourite to win)

Then me against Seb.

We were tied all the way till 12-12, then I could feel the blood in my face. I was heating up. After every rally, I would take my time because of the phlegm in my throat. Take a deep breath, and play.

Couldn't concentrate to smash, even though it was perfect. The positioning, the height, the speed. Perfect. I chose to lob every single time. And surprisingly, it went to the back of the court, which Seb couldn't reach...=).

But still, I lost 21-15.

Never play when you're sick.

*Anyone wanna play badminton anytime soon? I'm too lazy to organise. Anyone care to start?

Sunday, July 27, 2008

My hand hurts.

Training today was really painful.

Not tiring, cause when your hands ache you can't really push yourself to play strong shots every time.

Daryl and Ginasen's punishing regime. LOLS! =)

2 vs 1.

If the singles player loses, difference in points times 5!

If the doubles pair loses, difference in points times 10!!!!

I played singles first, and Ginasen put me up against two power smashers.
Not fair weh...my defence not very strong. =(

Kean Weng kept making me run back and forth. I lost 21-6.
Ginasen said, "Ok lah. 6 times 5 la." Weeeee...only 30 push ups, and not 75. =)

Then doubles, my hand was already aching, and I partnered a weak guy to fight Kean Weng....*sure die again*.

We lost 21-15. But Ginasen only asked to do 30 push ups because it wasn't all that fair a match. LOLS =)

Overall, only did 50 push ups. Ginasen was asking to hurry, so I only did 20 push ups, second time around....hehe.

Sebastian did about 120 push ups in total.

*55 came from Daryl vs Sebastian-Gabriel.

After that, everyones hand was like taufu......, well, mine was. =)

I don't like these kinds of training, cause your hands get the workout, and not your whole body, thus having the kind of feeling where you still have a lot of stamina to continue playing, but unable to do so because your hands have no more strength.

*anyone wanna play badminton?
My mother said I should play more badminton, instead of going to watch movies. lols. Its cheaper too. lol.

Anyone interested?

My decisions..

I have been to lazy to blog cause there wasn't anything interesting enough for me to write and wait hours in front of the computer hoping my Internet connection would restore itself to the speed my father paid for.

In 2 words.

DAMN SLOW INTERNET!!

*added the 'damn' to make it look nicer...lols*

So...hmmm...

Last Friday, Hee Ian , Basil, Chong Yong and myself went to 1 Utama to watch Hellboy. Couldn't get Dark Knight. =(

Hellboy was ooookk. I wouldn't watch it a 2nd time. Just like Hancock.

Whereas this Friday, the 4 of us + Erik will be going to pyramid to watch 'Journey to The Center of the Earth'. I find the title to long to type...LOLS. =)

Hopefully that will be a better show. =)

I actually wanted to play badminton this week with Hee Ian and the group, or maybe with PB3 and PL1, or whoever I could've invited, but after Sundays training, I felt I could wait a little longer...hehe. ;)

No spoilers of what I did. =)

And my brother and his friends will be temporarily away from training(maybe about 4 months...lol) due to their SPM preparations.
I want to see where I'll stand when they come back, and maybe I could even defeat Gabriel...hehehehe. ;)

Cya.

-No Title-

Sunday

Training. The way I play badminton know is very weird. Probably haven't gotten into the rhythm yet.

A simple training and now my legs are killing me. 1 month break is too long to be away from court.

Today, Shaun and Ken Hou came to visit me.

They sat down for a while, we chatted and they left. LOLS
Didn't do anything like play PS2 games. Don't know why.

And btw,

Hee Ian, your timetable out yet? when free to play badminton?

Monday, July 7, 2008

Simple updating.

Went to watch Hancock with Hee Ian, Chong Yong, Erik and many others at Sunway Pyramid last Friday.

The movie was not bad, and it's been a while since I last went to the cinemas, so all-in-all, quite a fun outing.

Sunday,

TRAINING!!

I was looking forward to continue training, but the muscles on both my legs were still recovering.
When were my legs injured? I don't know, but it was healing for the past week or so.

So, I played very little badminton on Sunday...=(
Hope it will be fully recovered by this Sunday.

Didn't hang out with Eujin and Dom last week, cause Eujin was busy the whole week, for some reason.

He just went for the orientation at Monash, and so did Hee Ian. They may even be classmates...lols.

TTFN...=)

Thursday, July 3, 2008

Random

Kinda bored not doing much at home...=)

Anyone wanna play badminton anytime soon?

Was supposed to hang out with Hee Ian, Chong Yong and Erik on Wednesday to catch a movie. It got postponed to Thursday, then it again got postponed to Friday.

And Dominic and Eujin haven't said anything yet about when we'll be hanging out. Eujin seems to be very busy. Can't do anything without him, cause he's the driver...LOLS. =)

Friday, June 27, 2008

I'm Baaaaaaacckkk!!!

LOL.

Surprise to see me updating? =)

I won't have to go back to NS anymore.

It's a long story to post it up here.

So, if you wanna here my story, and see my new hairdo...=), come and ajak me out.

But don't ask me to play badminton just yet, because the reason I left NS was that I had chest pain when breathing when doing physical activities.

They say it's muscle, so wait a while then ajak me to play ok. =)

Friday, June 13, 2008

*Update

Will be away until September 6.

=)

LOL

ROFL

I purposely use this for a certain reason....=)

Cya till then guys....=)

Good and bad news.

The good news,

Hee Ian-Justin bt Jer Renn-Sebastian 21-19, 14-21, 21-14. =)

Hehe. =)

I think I played quite well considering my absence on court for about 1 month. =)

The other good news,

My NS camp is now nearer. Its now at Port Dickson. This is because the other camp which I was supposed to go to, got closed down...=) Dunno for what reason.

The bad news,

Basil isn't in the same camp as I am anymore...=(
So sad.

Other news.

NO MORE PAPERS!!

Economics was the last paper.

Good Luck to everyone for their results. =)

And Good Luck for your future guys!!

Hopefully we can meet up sometime after I come back from NS okay. =)

Boo was already going on about playing badminton.

Get Facebook so that we can still be in contact ...=)

Only one more paper stand in my way till the holi...

At least I'll be playing one game of badminton before I leave. =)

Congrats to those who have finish earlier or will finish earlier than me...HAPPY HOLIDAYS people!! =)

When I come back from NS,

I expect a welcoming back party...=)
LOLS.

Maybe at some place called Laaasseeerrr Quuueesstt
*tired of hinting to Hee Ian....=)*

Well when I come back, Badminton will be first on my list...=)

ps. Obama has charisma!!
Archuleta sang FANTASTIC in the Finale *still no idea how Cook won*...=(

I guess that's all folks...=)

Note 1. Just noticed the number of smileys I used...=)

Barack Obama clinched nomination!

Sen. Barack Obama claimed the Democratic presidential nomination.
Just to let you all know...=)

What coincidence..

My father called me earlier today, saying that my NS camp is in Terengganu...*so far =(*

Then my mother and I decided to check it for ourselves. It said

SETIU AGRO RESORT

Resort? huh?

No kidding!!

We checked it out, and indeed, it's a resort!! wee!!
Doubt I would be staying in one of their chalets though. They have 5 dorms, I guess that's where I'll be staying for 3 months.

Decided to let Basil know that the camps can be checked online.

He replied back saying that he was going to Terengganu as well.

His camp was at....

SETIU AGRO RESORT!!

Must be my lucky day!!

Damn nice weh, I know someone there!! =)

Maybe if I go out to buy...*sneaks off to the nearest gambling den...* just joking. =)

My arms ache like hell...

Wanna know why? I'll tell you anyway.

On Sunday, woke up at about 8am, had bread at home for breakfast, and off we went to Taman Pertanian Malaysia.
Inside TPM is Skytrex, a jungle-swinging, plank-walking area where you are constantly above the ground (unless you decide to chicken out) from start to finish of the course.

When we arrived at Skytrex, we were to wear our harnesses and later given an introduction as to how to use our pulleys and hooks(I forgot what they were called).

After that, we started the course by climbing a ladder. As simple as it may sound, this ladder was about 17 metres high. My young cousin was, I quote, "a spider on steroids". She was really fast up that ladder.

The best part about this course was the numerous flying foxes all over the circuit.

I didn't get to go on the last flying fox (which was about 100 metres) because when the first "chicken exit" was next to me, it was the only thing I had in my mind. I don't know why, but I was mentally exhausted, not all that physically exhausted though, surprisingly. *haiz*

I would love to go there again.

My cousin, my brother and my mother completed the course. *clap*...lols

I wonder.....

How many people would do this 2 days before their A2 paper...=)

* will post the pictures later if and when I use my dad's computer.

Thursday, May 22, 2008

Awww man...

My 100th post, and David Archuleta lost out to David Cook...haiz.

Archuleta sang much better than Cook last night, I have no idea why he lost.

Oh well, both of them are amazing singers, and this was the predicted finale, so hats off to both of them.

I liked this mornings result show with some of the singers.

Archuleta singing Apologise with One Republic!! That was superb.
Also, the song that the Jonas Brothers sang was quite nice ( I don't know the title).

I'm sure Basil will be jumping up and down when he knows the result...lols.

Sunday, May 18, 2008

My real 99th post, and...

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

My father gave me an "angpau" in the morning just before we went to church.

*fast forward to the afternoon*
Training as usual every Sunday, but this time, it was much more tough, as we were asked to do sit-ups 80 times!! It was 20 more than the last time we did. after that, then we did our training.

After that, Ginasen asked us to do another 80!! *die*
But I only did 70, cause he left early...=)

But still, 150 sit-ups is almost crazy. My back and my "butt-bone" is killing me...lols

My parents dropped by to see how we were training today.

Also, I think I played much better badminton than other days, because I wanted to push myself on my last day of training. *everyone with question marks on their head*

Got NS-mah.

So, most probably only in October will I continue.

Good luck with all your preparations guys!!

Saturday, May 17, 2008

Aww man...

David Archuleta made it into the finale, but why couldn't Malaysia's men's team achieve this feat.

If only Koo-Tan played their hearts out, and I thought that Koo played worst than Tan, but Rexy said it was the other way around in today's paper. *confused*

Let's wait and see on Sunday, whether or not Korea can pull it off when they meet China.

Thursday, May 15, 2008

The good, and the bad.

The Good:
DAVID ARCHULETA MADE IT THROUGH TO THE FINAL!!
He along with David cook will be singing next week at the Nokia Theatre.
WEEE!!

The Bad:
Neither Denmark(Thomas Cup team) nor Malaysia(Uber Cup Team) made it through to the semifinals...sad.

Hopefully Malaysia's men's team will be able to score an upset over China tomorrow.
GOOD LUCK!!

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

Lets pray

Firstly for the the result show tomorrow on American Idol, that David Archuleta goes through to the finale!!

Secondly, that Denmark(Thomas Cup team) and Malaysia(Uber Cup team) can overcome their Korean opponents to reach the semifinal of their respective championships.
*currently looking at the visual live score for the Thomas & Uber cup.

Oh, one more thing. My aunt from London arrived last night, which means that the chocolate supply in my house will be restocked...LOLS. My other aunt will be coming to Malaysia as well, but that will be next week.

Cya!!

My 99th* post,

*updated
Not my 99th post, cause it counted drafts that I didn't post as well.

and possibly one of the best days of my life!!!!

Today was Teacher's Day, so our timetable was accelerated by 15 minutes. My first class was at 9.30 am.

As I approached nearer to 3.19, I only saw Ms Sujata there. Then she said to me, "you may be the only one today, hahas".

After sometime, Su Wei walked in, and was like "huh...no one is here?". But later confirmed that everyone was coming. So Ms Sujata left to print more papers as she did not expect everyone to turn up.

A couple of minutes after she left, everyone came in. PB2 are always a bunch of loud and entertaining people to be around. =)
The word quiet and boredom can never be associated with them. XD

Then Ms Sujata came in, and there was even more noise. Then while she gave the papers out, Boo came over to me and said, "Eh Justin, since this is the last day, let me spike your hair". I was like ".....". But I agreed to it. Everyone was like "WAH!!". And Ms Sujata was even more shocked, and I overheard her say, "Wah. Justin is letting Boo do his hair".

After Boo was done, everyone was saying it was not bad, then Ben added "not good either! Mine better"....lols.

It looked like I just woke up. I'll try to get the picture from someone, cause the pic on my phone can't upload for some reason.

The Nicholas re-did my hair, which I rather liked. It was more me.

Then Ms Sujata said, "Justin, keep your hair like this", and smiled.

Then it was econs and law, then college was over. Kinda sad for it to end.

Taylor's had a caterer to cater for the lecturers after class, and there was lamb!! They had quite a big spread of food laid out for them in front of the cafeteria.

I guess that's that.

I promised them to invite them for badminton one day, I hope that it will be able to work out. =)

Good luck with all your preparations for your exams!!

Oh, one more thing. I just got Facebook. Juna has been bugging me to get one, and surprisingly, Ms Sujata has one as well. lols.

What on earth happened?!

Did anyone watch American Idol tonight? It was supposed to be David Cook's strong night and Archuleta's horrifying night.

As you can see where this is going, Archuleta was "Da Bomb", lols.

Who knew David A. could steal the show in which the theme was rock.

Btw, there are only 2 more days remaining. =(

Tuesday, May 6, 2008

Only 3 days left...

I think the title itself is self explanatory.

Only 3 days remain of college life.

If you ask me how I feel, I wouldn't know how to answer you...=)

Ferrari 1-2!!!

You all probably already know that Ferrari got a 1-2 finish at the recent Spanish GP.

WEEEE!!!

Raikkonen now has extended his lead in the Driver's Championship and Ferrari are leading the Constructor's Championship...FORZA FERRARI!!

Haven't been playing much Cabal recently, and I've just watched the new episodes of Avatar, after such a looooooong wait for these two episodes to come out.

Also, I just found out that Saujana's Go-kart competition is being held in August...NOOOO!!!
I'll be in NS....currrseeeeesss...lols.

With my absence, at least somebody else can win....HAHAHAHA!! Just joking.

That's all I guess...^^

Forza Kimi!!

Raikkonen on pole at Barcelona!!

Massa at third...
Alonso was the only one in the way of a Ferrari 1-2, but kudos to him for being able to push his Renault this high up the grid.

The Mclarens are down in 5th and 6th position...=)

Also, Chelsea beat Man Utd...don't know the score though.

Idol season 7

The top 6 of this season's American Idol contestants were given the task of singing songs from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber song book.

What a weird night it turned out to be. =)

Carly sang Superstar from the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar", (which I didn't know he did).

Jason Castro sang Memory, from Cats the musical, which was sung by Elaine Paige in the musical. His rendition of it was kinda weird, and like Lloyd Webber said, "It's weird seeing a guy sing this song, and with dreadlocks"...lols.

David Archuleta and David Cook sang songs from The Phantom of The Opera (POTO...=))
Singing Think of Me and The Music of the Night respectively.

Both I thought were amazing...lols. =)

I only wrote about these 4 cause they sang songs from which I have heard the songs before from watching the musicals.

The best part of the this week was the ending scene where the judges wore the Phantom's mask. That was bloody interesting. =)

Too bad I can't find the picture online...

*PS
I'm sure my sister will have some kind of reaction after reading this...won't you? =)

Saturday, April 19, 2008

Aww...

No Malaysian/s will be in any matches of the ABC Finals.
None of the players had the ability to finish of their games, what a waste.

Classes will be starting soon, back to waking up early again...lols

Training tomorrow.

Nothing else to update...lols

=)

Saturday, April 5, 2008

Oh man...

What a way to start the holidays.

Fall sick.

Computer going coo coo.

No badminton since Thursday, not likely to have any within the next few days.

Missed out on going to the movies with friends.

Ferrari not getting pole at Bahrain. =)
At least neither did a Mclaren. Congrats to Kubica...lols

Post no. 90...

...and after tomorrow at 10.00 am, it's a

HOLIDAY!!

After sutdying my arse off (maybe not that much) for my trials, I get a deserved 2-week break.

Holidays mean
>wake-up-late-day;
>sleep-later(lolx)-than-usual-day;
>not-as-much-studying-as-during-normal-days-day;

and finally, my favourite,
>BADMINTON-DAY!! hehe.

Can't wait to play badminton with the usual gang, the not so usual gang, my training buddies and the totally unknown gang(apart from Boo and Eu Jin). =)

Oh yeah, almost forgot...

CABAL!!

It's a multi-massive-online-role-playing-game (MMORPG for short), that puts the 'ya' in BOOYA. (=

This is one of my top 3 most favourite online games of all time. The other 2 being RO and WT.

Good Luck to everyone, and cya in 2 weeks, unless I have an appointment with any of you during this time.

Ciao.

OoO...

My stomach has been in pain the whole day, so decided to go see a doctor.

Dr Leo said I may have appendicitis (forgive me for my wrong spelling or whatever^^).

What on Earth!!!

But he also said that it may just be the appendix tucked behind the big intestine, or something like that...any, medical student reading my blog?

He then gave me some antibiotic, not too sure what it's for. =)

If I'm still in pain, he'll check me again, and maybe send me to the Hospital...OoO.

And my trials are starting on Thursday...lolx.

Hospital, exam, hospital, exam, hospital, exam...

But if I do go under the knife, I won't be able to play badminton for a long while!!

NOOOOOOOO!!!

lolx, cya.

Booya!!

Ferrari takes up the 1st row of the grid at the Sepang F1 Circuit!!

And the better part is, Mclaren have been penalised for impeding Heidfeld and Alonso during qualifying, so Hamilton and Kovalainen will be starting 8th and 9th respectively. =)

*YES!!*

Ferrari has a great chance now to make it a Ferrari 1-2 on the podium today...they better not blow it.

Also, my family and I went to mass on Saturday night. Mass starts at 9 pm, so we left the house for CDM at 8.30pm. Bad decision.

We parked our car quite far away from the church, as there were none left near the church. I did not realise the magnitude of the number of people attending this mass. We managed to get our seats, at the 1st floor, right at the back.

During mass, at some parts, I was bored to death, and me and my brother joked a bit about something as well. Also, I tried to count the number of people that could be seated up on the 1st floor. It could fit about 490-500 people. Amazingly it could.

I don't know what time mass ended, cause my father didn't want to get hold up in traffic, so we left while they were talking about the announcements and stuff. That was probably at around 12.45-1 am.

After that we went to McDonald, and there were a lot of people there. Don't they sleep? lols

After that, we went home.

And I woke at at 10 am, just finished my breakfast and here I am blogging. That's about it.

FORZA FERRARI!!!

Sunday, March 16, 2008

What a day it turned out to be...

...and it isn't over.

Yesterday, the 2008 F1 World Championship started, but it was a disaster, and so too was the semi-finals of the Swiss Open.

Kimi Raikkonen suffered and engine failure, which did not allow him to continue with Q2, then Massa had a chance for pole position at Melbourne, but only managed to qualify 4th.

Then today, Massa retired after an engine failure, and so too did Kimi. Neither Ferrari's finished the race, and none managed to score even 1 point, and there were only like 8 cars left!! (many drivers retired during this race). But, Kimi was awarded a point, after Rubens Barrichello was penalised for leaving the pit lane under a red light. Sorry Rubens.

Furthermore, both Mclarens finished. Curse you Ron Dennis...lol.

And today, at badminton training, my brother beat me 21-18, after 1 week of trying. =)
We were neck-to-neck in the points, and he just scored a few in a row, and won. =(

Hopefully this bad day does not continue for me in the final of the Swiss Open later tonight.
*crosses fingers*
Please don't let Chong Wei lose to Lin Dan.^^

My MMORPG world

When was the first time any of you ever played an online game?

Me? It was during Form 2.

It was during Mrs. Ang's extra class on Sunday that I was first introduced into the online gaming world...thanks Rern Kent and Zhang Rei. =)

Ragnarok Online!!!

The best online game in the world. I played RO for about 6 months and that's when they decided to ask players to pay-2-play ( p2p). I was so edicted to the game. Played a swordie( became a knight until lv 58), and acolyte and a merchant. I even met many people during my journey there, like Yih Haur (at sewer), Samuel (can't remember) and Kee Siang( Morroc).

Managed to join a guild, Saint Empire VI. Met Netghost, Pike an UltimateHealer.

Those were the good old days of RO.

After that, went on to Gunbound. It was ok, but I could never really master the game, and after sometime ( the most 1 month), I got bored.

Still dreaming about RO, went to play a few private servers. Got hooked again, but then something was missing. The old gang wasn't there...then I left the private server scene.

Mid-form 3, I think, Justin Hee was talking about Maple Story. It didn't catch on to me at first, but then decided to give it a go. Played a mage and an archer, but neither characters reached above lv 20, and there wasn't much interaction between people in Maple (unlike RO), so again, I stopped playing Maple.

Gameflier introduced a new game when I was in Form 4, TS online. It was based on Chinese history and the usage of elements ( earth, wind, fire and water). This game may be kinda fun, but like GB and Maple, no interaction again.

Don't recall playing any online games throughout Form 5, until about 2 weeks before SPM!! Probably didn't do as much studying as others during this period.

WOLFTEAM!!!

It is one hell of a game!! An online first person shooter, and you can even change into a wolf!!
Never had this much interaction with other people before in other online games. Met many people from other states, and countries even. =)

To name my list of buddies, will take up a lot of my time ( not until so much la), but I will name those that I really really now.
(No particular order of favouritism)

Rife, Copbanger, Xiaoheizhu and Xiaobaizhu, dindin, Syaoran, Fizzy, Zachk, StickInMud, Precisionist, XiaoHeilang, Xiaofeizhu, Xiaofamily (xBabyboi), and some from RX, Elitewolf, The guys from the former Ragnarok, my current pride-mates TopFrags, and those from TopFrags2.

It has been quite an experience throughout the holidays. All of us were nearly playing 24/7...lolx, or should I say olo ( lolx, wonder who would know). But, good times had to end. School started, and everyone immediately became inactive.

Still, some come online to WT once in a while, but definitely, the once mighty TopFrags has fallen way below standard with all the other new prides. I kinda feel old when I play, because there are so many new prides, and all the low ranked players are getting quite good...or is it I'm getting worst.

Heizhu has been trying to get us to go for training sessions, but still, if only a small group go, there isn't much point, but I believe TopFrags can bring its good name back, when the regular players come back, hopefully during the holidays.

TopFrags
Leave No Man Behind

I too, have not been going into WT so often, partly due to the influence of Syaoran to play Maple again. Played an archer again, but this time, I'm lv 38...hehe. But now I've stopped again.

Now I'm playing Cabal online. Its a very fun game to play, as it never gets boring, even without interaction, as you are constantly doing quest. But it still lacks communication like RO and WT that makes it a damn freaking, amazing, fascinating, and interesting MMORPG to play.

Looking forward to continue to play WT during holidays, as well as 3 other online games. Battlefield Heroes, CS Online and

RAGNAROK ONLINE 2

It started with Raganrok, hopefully my online world doesn't end with Ragnarok.

Like Zhang Rei said. things that will never change in RO are, Prontera and Porings.

Bad day for Malaysia...

OF COURSE its a bad day for Malaysia, as none of our players made it through to the finals of the coveted All-England Badminton Tournament.

The first match between Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah and Jung Jae-sung-Lee Yong-dae, ended in a bitter manner for the Malaysian duo. This was probably their last All-England outing, and they have never won it before. *sigh*. Hopefully they will be able to win the Olympics (Koo-Tan still have a lot of time to do so...=))

I was on the edge of my seat watching them play. Too bad they lost.

After that, I thought Malaysia would have at least 1 representative in the finals, but Chong Wei just had to lose to Chen Jin. He played like crap in the first game, and only decided to pick up his pace in the second, but was already too late to do so. haiz...

At the rate this is going, China and Korea may be the nations that will win the All-England Championships, unless Tine Rasmussen can beat Lu Lan. ^^

Hope for a better outing at the Swiss Open next week for the Malaysian team.

Also, I have been following the General Elections at the same time. =)

Go to Malaysia Kini for the latest updates...NOW!!! (10.47 pm) Or just wait for the newspapers tomorrow. lolx

Cya.

For those who missed it,

Here is the video of David Archuleta's performance last night. =)

Today, Basil said something like, "I like David Archuleta, and he will win, but I don't want him to win."

lolx. Because David is the greatest,he wants others to have a chance to win AI 7. And also because he will definitely do well even after AI. =)

That I can agree on.

What fun..

...to drive my mum's car!!

It is so much more easier than driving a manual.

My mother fetched my brother to tuition, than she fetched me to SS 19 to get my 'P' licence. She then drove to the Shell petrol station at SS 18, and from there on, I drove back...WEEE!!

My mother was so scared..lolx.

Then my brother's tuition ended, so I picked up the car keys again.

When he saw me behind the wheel, he was smiling. Then he said, "I'll walk home today". =)
But alas, he didn't.

At that was that. My mother will be buying a 'P' sticker for me tomorrow to put it on the manual car. I need to get used to driving a manual car as well. =)

Passed!!

I passed my driving test on my first outing!! WOOHOO!!

I was really nervous the whole day, and I did not want to come back next week to sit for the test again, so, lucky for me there was some luck with the on-the-road test. I got the shortest, and easiest, route. ^^

The JPJ tester that was sitting in my car was a lady, and she was so impatient, probably even verging on being pissed.

I got into the car, and when I was adjusting the stuff, she said
"Kalau tak payah, jangan usik!".
Then she said, "Jalan sekarang!"
Scared the shit out of me...lolx

After that, she kept asking me to "CEPAT SIKIT!!", and "JANGAN SO SLOW!!"

She said it many times, and while I was driving, she wasn't even looking at the road, she was looking outside her window all the time.

Then when we reached back inside Metro, she took out a form, and started ticking and crossing boxes, like she remembered! Then at the bottom, she ticked Lulus!! I just left the car in a real hurry, cause she was really scary.

At least I passed, and that's all that matters. ^^

Will be getting my P licence on Monday or Tuesday.

I'm glad this week is going to be over, as I was so busy with many things, now I can relax, with my P in hand. ( Well not yet, but...you get what I mean. ^_^)

David Archuleta!!!

Anyone who has watched today's episode of American Idol, would definitely know that David Archuleta is the best singer ever on the show!!

His voice is simply amazing for a 16 year old, and to top it off, he has vocal paralysis.

Below are 2 videos of him, both not very good quality. =)

But please enjoy.

David was singing to the American Idol season 1 contestants, and the girl that's standing in front is Kelly Clarkson. ^^

Also, tomorrow's my driving test, so wish me luck. ^^

INTERNET!!!

Lolx!!

I'm back from my CNY trip to Ipoh this year, hope all of you had a great time as well. It was ok-ok la, but the food could have been better. Out of all my meals, the best was supper!!! =)
The second night we were there, we went to Restoran Tuck Kee, don't know if any of you guys have been there, but the Wat Tan Hor is damn nice...and they didn't "slaughter" people with the prices, how nice of them . =) lolx.

The other supper was from "the best burger stall in Ipoh". ( I don't know how true), but their cow burger was damn nice weh. LOLX. You all must be taking a second or two to process through your mind what cow burger is...that's how long it took me when my cousin came in with a plastic bag and said "try the cow burger, its very nice". lolx.

There wasn't any internet connection at my grandfather's house, so we had to find other ways of entertaining ourselves. MAHJONG and CHOR DAI DI!!! No money lar...I'm not a Gambling Ghost (tou kuai). =)
Learned how to count points this time round, but still slightly confused. Also, we watched some movies on my sister's laptop, like Resident Evil ( I very behind time ), Evan Almighty and AVP2.

Oh yeah, received quite a bit of ang pau this year. ^_^

Urmm, nothing else to talk about, college starting on Monday ( so sad).

Brotherly rivalry...

...AND I LOST!!!!

*sits in a corner*

Haiz..., my slump in form continues.

I need to score a win, or at least give a damn good fight, against a few people on Tuesday, if not, I'll need start from scratch AGAIN, by motivating myself.

In every game, there is a winner and a loser, I can't always be in the second group...right?

Tomorrow I will get to drive..weee!! BUT, the instructor is fetching me at 7.45 am, zzz. So early.

Friday, February 1, 2008

Happy Holidays!!

Weee!! Got a one week break from college, STARTING TODAY!!

Happy Holidays and a very Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!!
I can't wait to go to Ipoh. I will be leaving on Tuesday.

*Imagines playing mahjong, blackjack, Chor Dai Di, eating all kinds of foods at the coffee shops*
Sigh...can't wait. =)

Wish everyone a safe journey to where ever you guys are going.

The holidays may have just started, but I got off on the wrong foot. =(

Badminton today (whaddya think I was going to write about...lols) was a real bummer. Nothing went right. Everything kept going into the net, or out of court. I even missed two consecutive shots, my timing was off. So sad.

Throughout the whole 2 hours, I wasn't exhausted at all. Training on Sundays are more tiring, but today, after the 1st hour, I just lost my motivation to play, or even move. I was so pumped up to play today, to start the holidays with a nice game, but all was in vain.

It may have been one of my lousiest day (the lousiest being the time I lost to Erik 21-13), but it wasn't a waste of time. Just thinking back on the games I played, I can already see so many mistakes that I could have avoided.

I just hope my playing gets better on Sunday and Tuesday, if not, it will be such a lousy start to the CNY celebrations.

What a Day!!

Whoa!! It has been a good day of badminton for me and for the rest of the world (except China).

Today's training was different from normal days. Different meaning, TOUGHER!! I won't go into details about the training, but I will about the games I played.

After training, I could feel my lungs burning, and every breath I took, my dry throat was killing me. It took me about 15 minutes 2 get back to normal again. After that, I only played a total of 2 games ( not much compared with other days).

The first was Daryl and I against Ginasen-Gabriel (they are going for MSSD). I learned a lot about playing doubles in just 15 minutes from Daryl. Hehe...not gonna share any tips with you guys. Maybe its just me, but when ever I play with anyone that is much much superior than I am, I always up my game.

I retrieved many smashes from Ginasen, and there were 2 highlights for me in the game. One was which I took a shot from my deep-backhand, and put it right over the net. 1 point for us. =)

The next was when Ginasen cleared a smash from Daryl and it was my shot to take. I placed myself behind the shuttle, and smashed so hard, Ginasen couldn't retrieve. WOOT!! I couldn't believe I did that. This was only my second smash that was powerful enough (also got sound) that strong players couldn't take. What a shot it was. =)

We lost 21-19, but that was a damn fun game. The next was with my brother against another pair, which we have beaten before. But, we lost this time round 22-20. We tried a different style of play (the proper one according to Daryl). It was close, but we would've won if we were much more familiar with this style. All in all a good day for me. =)

Also, in the Korea Open, China only managed to secure 2 gold medals out of 4 they could have gotten. The best match was between Lee Hyun-Il and Lin Dan. If any of you didn't see the match, you must find a replay. It was so dramatic!! There were so many officials on court during match point for Lin Dan when a line-call was called in, and the umpire didn't overrule it. All of them were holding back the coaches and Lin Dan. Woot!! Never seen such a dramatic match before. In the end, the match went to Lee Hyun-Il.

That's all for now folks. =)

Delighted yet nervous

I'll blog about today's badminton training, because its one of my best ever!!!

As Daryl (or Darrel or whatever spelling there is) was the only one there today, he trained the smaller kids and he asked us (8 of us in total) to do footwork. We did 6 corners (the middle part is considered a corner =] ). 1 person follows the other player's movement on the opposite court, twice, then it was our turn to follow the other guy's footwork as well.

After that, Daryl asked us to do the same training he was trained before. That is by playing another team, and the difference between the points, that will be the number of push-ups that the losing team needs to do. So, it was Gabriel-Kean Weng and Justin-Sebastian, against the other 4 from Seafield. The first Seafield pair was definitely the stronger pair of the 4 pairs because of their fast movement and smashing capabilities.

Before the training started, I thought to myself, "How many push-ups would I need to do?". My brother and I was definitely not a pair to be reckon with ,yet. =)

Daryl's objective was to get us (the 2 above mentioned pairs) to do push-ups. But it was in vain lolx.

Gabriel-Kean Weng was in a class of their own (well, they're school reps). Daryl was shocked at how the Seafield people lost without even giving them a fight.

Then Daryl called me and my brother in. He told the Seafield pair our weaknesses, but it was still in vain. It never crossed my mind that we could beat those 2 pairs. So now, the 4 Seafield guys had to do their push-ups, while the 4 of us were happily chatting and drinking our water =).

So, Daryl still wanted us to do push-ups, so he teamed up with the strongest Seafield player and played against us. Gabriel-Kean Weng only had to do 3 push-ups, while my brother and I did 7.

So, today was an overall good day of badminton for me =).

But tomorrow, results will be out, so best of luck to everyone!!

My 1st post of the new year

zzz, ok lar, I may be late by 2 weeks. But there wasn't really anything interesting to post about, and I didn't want to write about weekly badminton outings which were kind of the same old thing I do. =)

Maybe some of the badminton games, I'll write about.

And I some how couldn't post up my timetable (dunno why) so here are my break times.
Monday : 9-10, 11-1
Tuesday: 10-11
Wednesday: I start at 11 and finish at 3, so I don't have any breaks =)
Thursday: 10-12
Friday : 9-10, 12-1

Results will be out soon, so ALL THE BEST!!

*Thinks of what to write*

Ahh, wonder when Taylor's badminton sessions will start, as well as an idea ( its only an idea) to play badminton with PB2 and PL1 together. The last time it didn't really work out, so that's why, this time its just an idea to begin with =)

I think that's all I have now...so I'll end here.

*Goes off to check other blogs*
