The End
Thanks to the SKSJ principle (read previous post), my training under Audrey has finally come to an end. It has only been 7 months since I rejoined after a very long break. Thank you coach for helping me with my play, and I hope to train under you again. =)
When I rejoined training, the training for that day was lobbing. The entire time I was lobbing, until I couldn't feel my hands anymore, and I had gone over my limit. Weird experience. That time, we lobbed for about 45 minutes. This time, the last training, we also did lobbing, but only for a certain time, I think it was like 10 minutes. Erik was already dead by that time. Then we also did something else, which I already found very difficult the last time we did it. My lungs were about to give way!!
Today, was a contrast of how I played yesterday. I played very slowly without much attacking. Hero to zero. I thought I would be able to finish my training on a high note.
Now questions are coming into my head, like what kind of training would Mike be doing if I do go under him?, would my play deteriorate compared to others?, and would my task to rise as the one of the best amongst my friends be taken away from me?
Don't know.
This is the end of my training under Audrey, for now, but this isn't the end of my training. That I can say for sure.

It wasn't as I hoped
We only played 1 game, but I totally took advantage, and it isn't a win I value a lot, because Hock Chin has probably not played badminton for a hell long time. So all his shots were very sluggish...but it was fun if you think about it.
Hee Ian invited me to play today, and the others that were there today were my brother, Wyhow and Hock Chin. Played many doubles, played 2 singles, one against Hock Chin, the other against my brother. Won 1 lost 1.
I played a very different game than I usually do. This is the 1st time that I have smashed so much, and I didn't injure my right shoulder, or my leg. Amazing!! lol.
My game was full of attacking and fast play, but this cost me the win against my brother because I'm still not too sure about myself when I play like this. Probably need some getting used to.
My best game of all time, was my final doubles game. Me and my bro, against Wyhow and Hock Chin. We won 22-20!! We were leading most of the time with a 2 point advantage. We had game point at 20-18, but 2 slip-ups allowed them to catch up. The last two points were the highlights of my whole badminton life.
Hock Chin lobbed the shuttle to the back. I waited, at the very right moment, I crossed my racquet to do a cross-court smash onto Wyhow. Hock Chin blamed me for not smashing at him. We were now at game point again, 21-20. The last rally went on. Shots went left, right back, front, then the shuttle was hit to the back of the court, and it was mine to hit. I heard Hock Chin say "smash me lah!", and it went all too perfect. I smashed at Hock Chin, broke his defence, and the game was ours!! I never felt better.
Brilliant.

Misery
But, this isn't the worst thing on my mind right now. Its the idea of not being able to train for badminton. NOOO!!
The current principle for SKSJ (primary school) is really annoying. She now doesn't allow outsiders to use the badminton courts on Saturday after 5pm and on Sunday after 1pm. So Audrey is not going to be able to coach us anymore. But, another guy will be doing the training, but I don't know the guy's time of training, and price. So, not sure if i'm going to go training under him.
So, this Saturday may be the last time I go for training under Audrey. Will miss playing with the other guys.
I wonder if my chance of getting better in badminton has just been taken away from me. Haiz..
AS exams are coming real soon, maybe I should forget about badminton for a while, and concentrate on my studies.......NO WAY!! The moment I take a leave from badminton for anything, then you'll know that I've been abducted by aliens...hehe.
Anyone wanna play badminton? Hock Chin is having his break now, and Ken Hou just messaged me about badminton. Come on guys, 5 beta? please. How about next week? you guys free? TELL ME!!!
gotta go now.

Great Weekend!!
It was quite a fun outing. We wanted to do 'flying fox', but they were renovating it, so straight on to archery it was. Couldn't really get the hang of it at first, well, played only for a while until the rain came.
After that, went back to the room. My father went to the gym, and I followed later on, and a while later so did my mom. I tried different kinds of stuff, didn't know what it was called. After sometime we left, and I changed into my swimming trunks to meet my cousin and my sister at the pool. Around evening, we went to the beach, and like I always do, I tried making a fort to prevent the water from entering =). It looked more like a volcano than a fort. Then of we went to the showers, for dinner.
We went out of the hotel to Pantai Remis. Half an hour drive from the hotel to the restaurant in total darkness. There were no street lamps 99% of the time. All of us sat in my fathers car, and it was quite fun driving in the dark. The food was ok, and the portion was BIG!! 5 dishes and a noodle, only cost RM 139. The funny thing that happened at the restaurant was that, my father ask for peanuts. Like here in KL, restaurants give salted peanuts, there, they gave us 1 packet of Shandong groundnuts!! ROFL!!
After dinner, another half an hour of darkness, then it was something like 10.15pm when we reached back at the hotel. So we decided to go to the recreation centre. Played billiard. Wasn't all that good. After 1 game, we went back to our rooms.
In the morning, had breakfast then went to play billiards again. After 1 game, everyone went to play archery, except me and my sister. I played another game with her, and won...hehe. We joined them later on, and I almost got a bulls eye. By 10.30am, we checked out, and went to Mengglembu to have lunch with my grandparents and aunt. After that we went home.
Quite an interesting experience.
And I've got an idea, for maybe the end of the year. =)
Anyone heard of Seaview Hotel? Its owned by Tan Yee Khan, former All-England Champion. Its on Pangkor Island, and it may only be a 3-star hotel, but there is A BADMINTON COURT THERE!! Yeah!! The rooms aren't expensive, RM 138 I think for a room with 3 beds, inclusive of breakfast!
So, if you know me, and there is a badminton court somewhere, you must know what my idea is. Here it goes.
End year break-Seaview Hotel, Pangkor-badminton court-competition?
Anyone wanna help me with my idea? Its just an idea, so I don't know whether it will work. But I would love for it to happen. Anyone la, 5 Beta, my usual badminton friends, PL1, PB 2 or any of my new friends at Taylors? But at least try 5 Beta.
That's all for this post, see ya.

"What I've Done" - Linkin Park
Then , on Wednesday (I think), the torrent for Bleach: Memories of Nobody came out!! Yeah!! It is a damn nice movie done for Bleach, nicer than Sealed Sword Frenzy!! The animations for the movie was much nicer than the weekly episodes that I download. I especially like this movie because 5 captains and 5 vice-captains (and Ikkaku and Ayasegawa) took part in battles scenes!! Simply AMAZING!! I loved the last battle against the Dark Ones and the use of the Kidou canon. DAMN FREAKING NICE!!! This is a must watch!!
Also, the verdict by the FIA about the controversial dossier belonging to Ferrari, in the hands of Mclaren, is being decided today in Paris. We will see in the morning what the court's verdict is, and the fate of Mclaren will be known.
Also, there is only one remaining Malaysian in the Japan Open, hopefully Chong Wei can come out on top, and not Lin Dan...hehe.
Till next time...=)

Post-trials
The trials went quite well, hopefully I can get better results than Semester 1.
Pushing away the all the exams, Erik suggested to watch a movie at around 12. So to Summit I went, meeting up with Erik, Hee Ian, Basil and Chong Yong. Erik already watched Ratatouille, so we watched Invasion, starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. It was just an ok movie, nothing to shout about, but Erik was like freaking out; kept looking at his watch as if the movie was going on for a lifetime. And after the show, he said that the show was rated wrongly...LOL!!!
The movie wasn't all that scary, neither was it any thrilling. It was just disgusting the way they (microorganisms from outer space that invades human bodies) infect other people. You guys can go and see it for yourselves. No more drinking coffee or tea unless I see the person who made it first.
After that, went home to prepare for badminton at 4 at Jaya square. I was so pumped up to play badminton after a two week break. On arrival, most of them were already there ( Zhang Rei brought 8 friends, and Hee Ian brought 8 as well, totalling 18. Hee Ian Booked 4 courts). Out of the total 6 games that I played, I only managed to win 1. =( . That was against Zhang Rei and one of his friends. I partnered with my brother the whole time.
The other 5 games, all had Hee Ian on the team!!! Grrrr!! Lost to Hee Ian-Eu Yang, Hee Ian-Peng Shen( sorry, don't know how your name is spelt) 21-19, both. We should have won both!! Haiz...so I thought, lets put those behind, and challenge Hee Ian-His nephew. That's right, you're not seeing wrongly, its his nephew. He played a very fast attacking game, and just broke our defences. Apart from the damn strong players at training, I've never played against anyone who jumps and smashes down the line! My brother and I couldn't do much, as they played a very flat game, and when the occasional high ball was given, my drop shots were most of the time hitting the white tape. We lost to them 21-13 the 1st time. Then we played a second, and they were leading 18-8!! We were being thrashed. His nephew definitely knew my weakness, my deep backhand.
In the third, at least we got 2 digits, but I can't really remember how much. It was a tough match for me, mentally, but physically, I could have played against them for another 40 minutes maybe. I wasn't all that tired. But I think that, Hock Chin is a much stronger player than Hee Ian 's nephew, but the combination of uncle and nephew is much deadlier than that of Hock Chin and Hee Ian, dunno why.
So, the lesson learned from yesterday's badminton is, never underestimate someone who is supposed to be 'younger' than you, and I need to work on my game.
Is there, by any chance, any PL1 or PB2 students that would want to play badminton during the holidays? just say so if you want ok. =)
Oh, and I decided to incorporate my recipes into this blog, rather than the other, as there aren't many that are going there.=(
I also decided to change the look of my blog, anyone like it?
If you don't, then just get used to it =)
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO MY A-LEVEL FRIENDS
and, study hard as the real AS exams are just around the corner =)
